Paul Arbuckle will remain with Donaco International Ltd on a month-to month basis while the search for a replacement CEO continues, the company has revealed.
Arbuckle was due to farewell Donaco this Thursday after tendering his resignation in December following the boardroom coup that claimed the scalps of long-serving Chairman Stuart McGregor, industry veteran David Green and Aruze Gaming’s Yugo Kinoshita.
Donaco said at the time it would commence an executive search process for a new CEO, but in a Wednesday filing stated it was still considering “a number of quality candidates.”
The decision by Arbuckle, who only joined Donaco in June 2019, to remain on board in the interim will allow for a smooth transition to a new CEO, the company added.
Donaco operates two casinos, at Star Vegas in Cambodia and Aristo International Hotel in Vietnam. Star Vegas remains closed due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, however Aristo recently reopened for business, albeit with limited operations.
