Global gaming giant Light & Wonder, Inc has announced the appointment of former Shuffle Master Chairman and CEO Dr Mark Yoseloff as a consultant to help grow the company’s global table games business.
Dr Yoseloff, who currently serves as the Principal of Disruptive Gaming Technologies, spent 12 years with Shuffle Master including nine as Chairman and CEO between 2000 and 2009. The company was acquired by Bally Technologies in 2013 which was itself acquired by Scientific Games, now Light & Wonder, the following year.
Light & Wonder said the industry veteran will leverage his deep industry knowledge to contribute to strategic initiatives to propel growth for the table games business.

In addition to his strategic contributions, Dr Yoseloff will play a key role in the ideation of game design across all platforms, with particular focus on felt-based table games, electronic table games (ETGs) and cross-platform content, the company explained.

Light & Wonder said it will debut the first game created by Dr Yoseloff at G2E in Las Vegas next week – a new progressive theme called “Diamond Millions” which gives players the chance to win a multi-million-dollar jackpot with a US$5 bet.
