Philippines-based technology provider DFNN has announced an executive reshuffle that will see the company’s leadership team expanded in order to add more gaming industry experience.
According to details filed with the Philippine Stock Exchange on Tuesday, the changes include elevating current President CEO Calvin Lim to the position of Executive Operating Director, with Country Manager of Intel Corporation and DFNN COO Ricardo F. Banaag named new President & CEO.
Also joining the DFNN team are experienced IT executive Donald Limcaco as DFNN’s Chief Information Officer and as COO of several DFNN operating subsidiaries, while former Nordic Marketing Manager for PokerStars, Jacob Edel, will join as Vice President for Marketing.
DFNN said the decision to expand its management team was due to the bulk of its business pipeline involving cutting-edge technology and its gaming arm continuing to claim a strong foothold in the industry. As such, its Board of Directors saw it fit to have additional gaming related and technology experts to oversee the execution of planned strategy and operations.
DFNN had already appointed Mark Allan E. de Ungria as Chief Revenue Officer and Francis Formalejo as Chief Technology Officer prior to these latest appointments.
