In a Hong Kong stock exchange filing this morning, Galaxy Entertainment Group revealed it has been issued 1,000 gaming tables and 1,700 electronic gaming machines under the new concession period commencing on 1 January 2023.
Galaxy’s previous table allocation under the table cap was 1,079 tables, meaning its number of tables will reduce by 79, or 7%, under the new concession rules.
The Macau government previously announced it would allocate a total of 6,000 gaming tables and 12,000 electronic gaming machines Macau-wide under the new concessions.
