Singapore integrated resort Marina Bay Sands has unveiled high-end Japanese restaurant WAKUDA Singapore, a collaboration between globally renowned chef Tetsuya Wakuda and restaurateur John Kunkel.
Welcoming its first guests on Sunday 17 April, WAKUDA Singapore is Wakuda’s second restaurant at MBS – joining the two-Michelin star Waku Ghin. Featuring fresh produce from Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, the restaurant will offer à la carte style dining in its Main Dining Room and Japanese mixology at The Bar, with a “refined omakase and private sushi room experience” to launch in the near future.
WAKUDA Singapore precedes the impending launch of WAKUDA at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas later this year.
“We are truly honoured to deepen our existing partnership with Chef Tetsuya Wakuda and 50 Eggs Hospitality Group with the inauguration of WAKUDA Singapore,” said Christine Kaelbel-Sheares, Vice President of Food & Beverage at Marina Bay Sands.
“With its assurance of supreme quality and exceptional dining experiences, WAKUDA will set a new standard for dining at Marina Bay Sands as we welcome back more local and international guests.”
Chef Wakuda is best known for his fine dining restaurant Tetsuya’s in Sydney, which has been regularly named among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
