Wynn Macau Ltd says the vaccination rate among its team members has now reached over 81% following recent efforts to promote the importance of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
Wynn is one of four Macau concessionaires to have now publicly confirmed a vaccination rate of at least 75%, pointing to the establishment of a Vaccination Center at Wynn Palace’s Grand Theater and several vaccine information seminars where representatives of the Health Bureau delivered in-depth explanations about vaccines to more than 700 Wynn team members.
Wynn later adapted the content of those seminars into short films that were broadcast in the back-of-house areas, the company said. It also arranged online learning courses that enabled team members to access comprehensive and accurate information about the vaccines.
Those receiving the COVID-19 vaccine are provided with a special shuttle bus services to the venues for their appointments and are able to enjoy up to two days of special leave upon receiving both doses.
“Pandemic prevention is currently Macau’s primary focus and it is vital to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in order to achieve herd immunity,” the company said.
“Therefore, Wynn will continue to cooperate closely with the Health Bureau in actively encouraging Macau residents to get vaccinated so as to further increase the vaccination rate. We will also fully support the pandemic prevention guidelines and policies formulated by the SAR government, and diligently implement all pandemic prevention measures to safeguard the safety, health and wellbeing of Wynn team members as well as our guests.”
