VIDEO: IAG Japan discusses the race to develop integrated resorts in Japan

The race to develop integrated resorts in Japan is hotting up in 2021 with local governments selecting their partner operators for joint submissions to the national government in late 2021 or early 2022.

Inside Asian Gaming’s Andrew W Scott and Bay City Ventures’ Joji Kokuryo take a full “around the country” look at candidate locations and operators, and discuss the various factors affecting each.

Topics discussed include Osaka, Yokohama, Wakayama, Nagasaki, Hokkaido, Nagoya, Tokyo, MGM, Sega Sammy, Genting Singapore, Melco Resorts and Entertainment, Galaxy Entertainment, Hard Rock, Suncity, Clairvest, Casinos Austria, One Kyushu, Oshidori with Mohegan, Current and Get Nice, Niki and Parkview and the effect of the country of origin of candidate operators on the race.
