Macau-based gaming product distributor Asia Pioneer Entertainment (APE) says it has been working closely with operators and supplier to help improve their products, with 22 new and upgraded products from companies it represents approved by the DICJ in 2020.
Outlining its commitment to embracing change as the industry gradually emerges from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, APE told Inside Asian Gaming that it has continued to experience a decline in order volumes as a result of less demand by operators. But the company “has never stopped the pace,” a representative explained, having spent much of 2020 “meeting gaming operators, site visiting and keeping close touch with suppliers to improve and innovate products to be prepared for market recovery.”
According to APE, there were “22 products, games and upgraded-products of APE’s global partners approved by the DICJ in 2020.”
These included Jumbo Technology’s S-27 ETG Cabinet, designed to support round-type and stadium-type Sicbo, Roulette and Baccarat, and featuring a 27-inch HD touch screen display. Each server can connect up to 100 terminals, increasing flexibility of arrangement on the casino floor.
Slovenian ETG supplier Spintec d.o.o. also developed a new version of its multigame amphitheater solution providing a higher quality, smoother entertainment experience for players.
Gaming machine specialist Konami Australia Pty Ltd has introduced its popular All Aboard Linked Progressive Jackpot following impressive results in Australia. Coupled with two base games – “Dynamite Dash” and “Piggy Pennies” – it offers a linked jackpot and four level standalone jackpot, and a unique “All Aboard Feature” with the ever-popular Stay & Spin mechanic to maximize player excitement.
And TransAct, a leader in developing and manufacturing market-specific solutions, launched Epicentral Clean2Play in response to the increasing demand for cleaning and disinfection under the outbreak. Epicentral Clean2Play provides real-time printed proof that a gaming machine has been cleaned, sanitized and is ready for the next play.
“With the innovative products being introduced to Londoner, Lisboa Palace and Hoiana Resort casino floors, it is believed that APE will bring a new landscape to the gaming industry,” the company said.
