Yokohama city has moved its first scheduled operations briefing on their IR project to an online offering in response to measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The IR Promotion Division has announced it will conduct seminars and question and answer sessions.
Due to the state of emergency declared on 7 January, the first business briefing scheduled for Saturday 6 February will now be held exclusively online and the satellite locations have been canceled. Further, the number of applications for online participation has been boosted from 60 to 150.
Participation methods were originally meant to be include online participation for 60 attendees with questions possible over Zoom, plus satellite locations limited to 30 attendees for each venue. The venues were to be confirmed via advance application. There will still to be a live stream on YouTube.
The IR Project Status Update Briefings will be held six times between 6 February and 14 March. After the state of emergency is lifted on 7 February, briefings will be held at the satellite venues.
