Celebrating 13 years helping guide the way for Rich Goldman Holdings – formerly known as Neptune Group – in 2020, Niglio’s long career has seen him fill an incredibly diverse selection of roles including almost a decade under the watch of US President and former gaming tycoon Donald Trump.
Starting in 1993, he served as Executive Vice President of Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort Inc, Senior Vice President of Casino Marketing of Taj Associates of Trump Atlantic City Associates and Senior Executive in Casino Marketing and International Operation at Atlantic City NJ (Trump).
Yet surely his greatest achievement is managing to crack the “mysterious” world of Asian junkets, officially heading up Guangdong Group’s listed arm since day one.
While it has been a challenging year in the VIP sector, Rich Goldman Holdings – whose business arms include junket investing (as opposed to operations), money lending and hotel operations – may have inadvertently picked the perfect time to sever ties with its last remaining Macau junket in April.
The company had announced plans to invest in a new junket room at Solaire in the Phililippines – that’s on hold for now – but continues to make progress in money lending.
Time will tell to what extent Rich Goldman dips its toes back into the gaming space in the future.
