NagaCorp Ltd has confirmed to Inside Asian Gaming that it has already resumed mass gaming operations and is now “running a full pre-COVID set of gaming businesses” at its Cambodian integrated resort NagaWorld.
The resumption of all gaming segments comes after the company was granted permission by the Cambodian Ministry of Health on 18 July to fully reopen its main gaming floor, having previously resumed VIP table games and slot machine operations from 7 July.
NagaCorp holds a monopoly on casino gaming within 200km of Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh, having recently extended its exclusivity agreement with the government by 10 years until 2045.
Having announced late Sunday that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding by which the Cambodian Ministry of Health stated no objection to the resumption of all its casino businesses, NagaCorp confirmed to IAG on Tuesday that it had resumed mass table gaming with immediate effect at Naga1 and Naga2.
The company added it is satisfied with the results of the recent reopening of VIP and slot operations.
