Pansy Ho says she will take on more responsibility at MGM China after assuming a new title of Co-Chairperson and Managing Director following the retirement of Grant Bowie as CEO last week.
In a written statement to MGM staff, seen by Inside Asian Gaming, Ho also outlined other key changes to the company’s senior leadership team, with Hubert Wang, Kenneth Feng and Antonio Menano all assuming new roles.
Wang, formerly MGM China’s VP of Finance and CFO, will become President and Chief Operating Officer overseeing Business Development, Casino Operations, Hospitality, Security and the Digital & Technology Solutions divisions.
Feng will assume the role of President, Strategic and Chief Financial Officer overseeing Finance, Human Resources, Brand Marketing, Internal Audit and the Design, Development and Property Operations divisions, while Menano’s added responsibilities will include the Surveillance and Security Systems divisions.
“Hubert, Kenneth and Antonio will report to me as Co-Chairperson and Managing Director of the company,” Ho told staff this week. “I will be spending more time here and working closely with them and many of you on a day-to-day basis.”
Ho didn’t detail exactly when the new leadership arrangements will take effect other than stating it will happen “shortly in preparation of a fast recovery once the border restrictions are lifted and for the application of the 2022 gaming license renewal.
“Together as a team, we look to continue to challenge and reinvent ourselves. We endeavor to continue to make MGM China the leader in the Macau gaming sector and a great place to work at,” she said.
