Aristocrat’s work in the Philippines extends well beyond the country’s increasingly successful gaming floors.

The Philippines is set as one of the top casino growth markets globally, with world-class gaming destinations in Manila and in other entertainment zones such as Clark and Cebu.  Philippines venues are demonstrating a strong focus on great slot content, alongside table gaming and ETGs, to offer savvy patrons the very best entertainment opportunities.

As reported by Inside Asian Gaming in June, the Philippine land-based casino market finished 2018 with total gross gaming revenue (GGR) of Php187.54 billion (approximately US$3.57 billion), representing a 22.9% year-over-year increase.

Within a framework of robust regulation and a best practice approach established by PAGCOR, Aristocrat is offering a selection of its best game concepts and products to players and customers in the Philippines.

The business is taking a long-term partnership approach, championing the market with a strong local sales and technical support presence, and making an active contribution to the community.  This is embedded in Aristocrat’s company values, which include “Good Business, Good Citizen” and a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards while contributing to the local communities in which it operates.

For example, Aristocrat’s annual Christmas event in Manila combines celebration with doing good through partnerships with local charities.  Aristocrat has previously partnered with Philippines based Purple Centres Foundation, with proceeds going to tuition and meal sponsorship for children.

Following a damaging typhoon and flooding of Purple Centres communities in 2017, Aristocrat donated 7,500 canned goods and 1,500 gallons of water to assist relief efforts, prevent displacement and maintain continuity in the education of children in the area.

Aristocrat personnel also participated in post-storm clean up dives in the town of Anilao, to clear the corals of debris. As part of the effort, half a day was spent with local communities to help explore the benefits of eco-tourism and sustainable refuse disposal.

In addition, Aristocrat is striving to help build the broader gaming industry network across the country, with a highly successful Clark Customer Summit hosted in September. This gave customers a valuable opportunity to share views and insights and build relationships to support the continued growth of the industry.

In concert with PAGCOR, Aristocrat also recently showcased its latest cabinet release, the MARS, to the broader Philippines market with a formidable stable of top performing and currently available games. The first placements of this next-generation cabinet in the region was a significant milestone, with City of Dreams hosting the popular Gold Stacks 88 link family on the MARS to great effect. The link itself is positioned at Php50 million start-up, with more venues to come online shortly in the Philippines and across Asia.

Aristocrat has established a long-term commitment to helping its customers in the Philippines and across Asia Pacific to grow, while also contributing to local communities and playing a role in ensuring the industry is robust and vibrant.
