Hong Kong-listed gaming investor International Entertainment Corp (IEC) has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer following the departure of Mr Li Shui Keung.
In a Tuesday filing, the company confirmed that Li had stepped down effective immediately with Mr Lee Chi Wai stepping into the role. Lee, 41, has been promoted from his former position as Deputy CFO, having joined IEC in January of this year.
The company said that Lee holds a degree of bachelor of arts in Business Studies from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, bringing over 18 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance management in an international accounting firm.
IEC operates New World Manila Bay Hotel & Casino in the Philippines where it leases casino and related gaming equipment to PAGCOR. It is also the owner of Wigan Athletic Football Club – which it purchased in November 2018 – and holds the rights to operate land-based live events and poker rooms under the branding of PokerStars in Macau, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia.
