Tadashi Wakabayashi, advisor to Rush Street Japan, is scheduled to speak at a symposium held on 9 July titled “Thinking About Japan’s Tourism Business.”
The symposium has been co-sponsored by hospitality industry magazine HOTERES and the Toyo University, Faculty of International Tourism Management’s Tourism Professional Course.
Leaders who are active in the tourism industry will give presentations on IRs, hotels, traditional B&Bs and travel for industry professionals and students looking for a career in the industry.
Wakabayashi said, “It is a great honor to speak to students about the important role a new industry like IRs can have on the growth of Japan’s tourism market.”
He will explain how IR development can coexist with the local community based on experiences in North America and how it contributes to the tourism industry and local economy.
