MAD — both Macau After Dark and Manila After Dark — is a quarterly series of professional and social networking events for the hospitality, entertainment and gaming industry in Macau, hosted by leading industry media outlet Inside Asian Gaming. The event provides an excellent opportunity and platform for sponsors to promote their brands and let their target clients learn about sponsor brands in a relaxing environment.
Who attends MAD?
Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. Attendees must work for an operator (land-based or online), supplier to an operator, hotelier, entertainment business or be connected to the industry in some way. All attendees supply their business cards upon entrance to each MAD event. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
Where and when is MAD held?
MAD is generally held once per quarter, with a new venue chosen for each event. Each venue offers free flow wine and beer plus finger food, and range from casual pubs through to more upmarket cocktail lounges.
From 2021, due to its enormous popularity, MAD is now strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP, and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
A range of sponsorship opportunities are also available, each of which includes a number of entry tickets.
