PokerStars will launch its brand new Philippines poker room, PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila, next week ahead of the first ever Okada Manila Millions.
The move to its new home follows the brand’s recent departure from its former base at City of Dreams Manila. PokerStars LIVE also departed City of Dreams Macau last April.
PokerStars LIVE at Okada Manila will hold its official ribbon cutting with a players’ party on Saturday 9 February, with the inaugural Okada Manila Millions running from 5 to 10 February, featuring 13 events, followed by the Manila Megastack from 1 to 10 March.
PokerStars has also announced a small two-stop schedule for its 2019 Asia Pacific Poker Tour.
The first, at Paradise City in Incheon, will run from 5 to 14 April and boast a KRW1.8 million (US$1,620) buy-in main event, while APPT Manila will be held at Okada Manila from 26 to July to 4 August with a Php65,000 (US$1,250) buy-in main event.
