The meeting, attended by Melco Resorts Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho, Executive Vice President Geoff Davis, Managing Director Evan Wincklen, President Geoffrey Andres and Entertainment Gaming Asia CEO Clarence Chung, took place shortly before a special function hosted by the President at Manila Hotel to thank the local gaming industry for its contributions.
Also in attendance were Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Pagcor Chairman and CEO Andrea Domingo, Pagcor President and COO Alfredo Lim and Pagcor directors Gabriel Claudio, Reynaldo Concordia, Carmen Pedrosa, and Corporate Secretary Juanito Sanosa Jr.
The government didn’t release details on what was discussed during the meeting but did note that Melco Resorts and Entertainment is set to launch a new luxury hotel brand, Nüwa, at City of Dreams Manila in the coming months, replacing Crown Towers.
