SINGAPORE : A 47-year-old man was jailed eight weeks on Monday for using his wife’s identity card (IC) to enter the casino at Resorts World Sentosa on May 29 last year.
Lim Peng Chuan had a valid exclusion order issued against him as he was a bankrupt.
He was caught by the of the attraction’s security officers during a random check shortly before midnight that day.
Lim’s wife had earlier handed him her IC to facilitate the transfer of ownership of a school bus business from his name to hers.
He could have been jailed up to 10 years and fined S$10,000 for the offence.
