The Chairman and CEO of leading Philippine gaming operator Bloomberry Resorts Corp revealed Monday that the company’s new integrated resort, Solaire Resort North, will open its doors to the public in late May.
The update from Enrique K Razon Jr formed part of Bloomberry’s FY23 results announcement, which saw the company report an 85% year-on-year increase in net income to Php9.5 billion (US$170 million).
Commenting on the progress of Solaire Resort North, originally planned to open in 2023, Razon said, “We have high hopes for 2024, especially as we open our second integrated resort in the thriving metropolis of Quezon City.
“The construction of Solaire Resort North is almost complete, and we plan to launch late in May of this year.
“Solaire Resort North will massively enhance our luxury gaming and entertainment portfolio and solidify our standing as the leading integrated resort developer and operator in the Philippines.”
Once complete, Solaire Resort North will feature 526 guestrooms and suites, a Sky Bar on the 33rd floor offering expansive district views, 11 restaurants and bars, meeting and banqueting facilities, and 13,150 square meters of gaming space. Recreational facilities will include an outdoor Olympic size swimming pool, a gym, spa and children’s play area.
