Inside Asian Gaming in partnership with the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association is pleased to release the full program for the upcoming MGS Summit, part of MGS Show, to be held next Tuesday 14 November 2023 at Galaxy International Convention Centre.

MGS Summit will kick off at 11am with welcome remarks from the summit chairman before a Keynote Address is delivered by Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau at Galaxy Entertainment Group.

This will be followed by the first panel session of the day, titled “Future Opportunities, Challenges and Trends for Gaming Suppliers”. To be moderated by IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott, the four panelists will be Eddie Au from LT Game, Jim Preston from Interblock Gaming, Lloyd Robson from Aristocrat and Trevor Ross from Light & Wonder.

At 12:20pm, Ian Hughes, CEO of GLI Australia, will deliver a fascinating presentation titled “AI Unleashed: Navigating the Future for Regulated Gaming”, which will explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and the gaming industry as it relates to customer experience, responsible gaming, regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering.

The afternoon session of MGS Summit will begin with a panel session titled “Pioneering a New Macau”, exploring the opportunities and challenges facing Macau’s concessionaires under their new 10-year concessions. To be moderated by Professor Davis Fong of the University of Macau, the six panelists will represent all six Macau gaming concessionaires:

  • Craig Fullalove, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer, Wynn Macau
  • Frank McFadden, Chief Operating Officer – Gaming & Hospitality, SJM Resorts
  • Buddy Lam, EVP, Corporate Office, Galaxy Entertainment Group
  • Raymond Lo, SVP and Property General Manager of Altira Macau and Mocha Clubs, Melco Resorts
  • Hubert Wang, President and COO, MGM China
  • Wilfred Wong, President and Executive Director, Sands China

Professor Wang Changbin, Director of the Centre for Gaming and Tourism Studies at Macao Polytechnic University will deliver a presentation titled, “The Gaming Industry in the Post-Pandemic World and Macau: Trends and Strategies” delving into what operators must do to broaden Macau’s tourism appeal.

Finally, the day’s sessions will conclude with a Q&A session titled “Everything you wanted to know about PIGO but were too afraid to ask”. In this session, IAG Managing Editor Ben Blaschke will quiz Suat Sirin, President of Tecnet Asia Inc, about the Philippines’ rising remote gaming industry.

Simultaneous interpretation between English and Chinese will be provided for the entire Summit.
