Breakaway global golf tour LIV Golf has announced Resorts World Sentosa as Presenting Partner and Official Hotel of LIV Golf Singapore, to be held at Sentosa Golf Club from 28 to 30 April.

The event represents the LIV Golf League’s first visit to Singapore, with leading players Cam Smith, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau among those scheduled to take part.

In a statement, LIV Golf said the partnership with Resorts World Sentosa represents the latter’s commitment to bringing global attractions for fans and tourists on the island.

“We are proud to have Resorts World Sentosa as the presenting partner for LIV Golf Singapore,” said LIV Golf Commissioner and CEO Greg Norman.

“The tournament will bring the world’s best golfers to Asia, a massive market deserving of our sport’s top competition and event experiences. The LIV Golf League is changing the game and aligns with RWS’ commitment to introducing world-class entertainment to tourists and locals on the island.”

RWS Chairman and CEO Tan Hee Teck added, “We are bringing LIV Golf to Singapore as it is part of our DNA to offer new and premium experiences to our wide range of visitors.

“Many of our premium visitors are also golf enthusiasts and this event will appeal to them. We will continue to work with like-minded partners to make RWS a compelling lifestyle and leisure proposition that resonates with our target consumers with diverse interests across entertainment, food, the arts, sports, and much more.

“RWS continues to be at the forefront of Singapore’s tourism and lifestyle landscape, providing its visitors with a pipeline of specially curated thematic offerings that are second to none.”
