Inside Asian Gaming has announced leading industry suppliers IGT and Light & Wonder as Platinum Sponsors of the 14th instalment of networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 14, which will be held this Friday 9 December 2022 at Vasco – Bar & Lounge, Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.

The theme of MAD14 is “Christmas After Dark – Very Merry Christmas!” with guests invited to join Inside Asian Gaming to celebrate the end of another year while enjoying all that Vasco Bar & Lounge has to offer.

“This final MAD event for 2022 provides our IGT team with the opportunity to network with key industry stakeholders and discuss the successes from the past 12 months, the challenges we’ve all faced as an industry and the prospects for the year ahead. We are looking forward to celebrating the end of 2022 with our business partners in Macau and to a mutually prosperous new year for our industry,” said Michael Cheers, IGT Sales Director Asia.

Vasco – Bar and Lounge is named in honour of Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese explorer who set out to do what no man had ever done before – open a trade route from Portugal to the East. Vasco successfully bridged the East with the West in the Age of Discovery, and now more than 500 years later, Macau epitomises the perfect blend of these two extraordinary cultures.

Vasco – Bar and Lounge is an invitingly warm and spacious setting for drinks and light snacks. Guests often sit around the bar watching the bartenders in action and listening to stories about Macau’s past or relax in a more intimate corner deeper inside the bar overlooking the streets.

“Since Vasco – Bar & Lounge re-opened last Christmas, its curated cocktails and beverage program together with its live entertainment line-up is much loved in town, it has become one of the city’s popular hot spots for social gatherings, drinks and live entertainment,” said Mr Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President, Macau Operations of Artyzen Hospitality Group and General Manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.

“This year again, we are thrilled to collaborate with Inside Asian Gaming on its Christmas After Dark event, by December our hotel lobby will be decorated with a stunning 5-meter red and gold Christmas tree. With our charming venue, artisanal drinks as well as the top-notch hospitality, together with IAG, we look forward to welcoming everyone to this very special networking event.”

MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in Asia’s gaming hub of Macau. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. A new venue is chosen for each event.

Note that, due its enormous popularity, MAD has for some time been a strictly-by-invitation-only event. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an official event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
