Industry supplier Aruze Gaming Australia Pty Ltd has announced the appointment of Mitsuhiro Miyazaki as Senior Vice President of Product Management for its Asia Pacific regions, including Australia and New Zealand.

In his new role, Miyazaki will oversee Aruze’s product planning and roadmaps for the region, Aruze said, helping develop and implement strategies for the company products within R&D, compliance and sales while driving the organization in conjunction with other senior management.

The company also revealed that Miyazaki will subsequently act as a Director of Aruze Gaming Australia, pending licensing, along with Robert Ziems and Cameron Louis.

“Mr Miyazaki’s R&D and Product knowledge will be a tremendous asset to our team,” said Aruze’s Global CTO and Chairman, Masumi Fujisawa. “We believe the wealth of experience that Mr Miyazaki brings with him will help strengthen Aruze’s product research, planning, and roadmaps throughout the Asia Pacific region.”

Miyazaki brings over 14 years of extensive experience in the gaming industry where he has held senior executive positions. Before joining Aruze, he was Managing Director of Konami Australia, following multiple senior leadership roles in R&D and international sales and operations at Konami Gaming, Inc in the United States.

He previously served in project management and engineering roles at Hitachi Ltd as well as Renesas Technology Corporation, according to information provided by Aruze. Miyazaki received a Master of Business Administration from TiasNimbas Business School at Tilburg University in the Netherlands, a Master of Science in Engineering from Princeton University in the United States, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Osaka University, Japan.
