The number of employees to have perished during the fire at Manila Pavilion Casino on 18 March has risen to six, Pagcor announced late Wednesday.
According to the Philippine gaming regulator, the latest victim to pass away is 28-year Jennilyn Figueroa, who lost her battle early Wednesday morning after being in a critical condition for three days. Figueroa was part of the internal security staff at Casino Filipino Pavilion. She had worked for the company for six years.
The five others to have also lost their lives in the tragic incident were Treasury Officer Edilberto Evangelista, Assistant Treasury Officer Marilyn Omadto, Security Guard Billy Rey De Castro, CCTV Operator John Mark Sabido and Junior CCTV Operator Jocris Banang.
Pagcor said it was “deeply saddened by the unfortunate fate of its six employees. It will continue to extend support to the bereaved families.”
