MGM China has launched a “MGM Family Vaccination Care Leave” incentive program that will see any staff who need to accompany their underage children or elderly parents to get vaccinated granted three days of paid leave.
The company said it wants to encourage its team members to promptly arrange for their children and elderly parents to get vaccinated in a bid to reduce the risk of infection and transmission. Under the program, staff can apply for up to three days of “MGM Family Vaccination Care Leave”, which is applicable to either the first, second or third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
“MGM’s team member vaccination rate has exceeded 95% for now,” said Co-Chairperson and Executive Director, Pansy Ho.
“We would like to thank our team members for their concerted efforts to help protect Macau. To encourage our team members to extend the protection and care to their families, MGM launches this special leave program, stepping up our efforts to safeguard our team members and their families, as well as to consolidate Macau’s position as a safe, liveable and tourist-friendly city destination.”
