Galaxy Entertainment Group has launched a U-LEAD Graduate Internship Program offering a three-month internship for graduates referred by Macau’s Labor Affairs Bureau (DSAL).
The internship aims to provide the graduates with a deeper understanding of integrated resort operations while obtaining valuable work experience in the industry.
Galaxy said it recently held an open day to launch the program at which graduates from local universities and institutions were introduced to the company’s latest developments and met current team members before attending on-site interviews after which some were selected to join the internship program. Those selected will be assigned to different departments within Galaxy’s Macau properties, including resort front office and back office operations and administration.
Galaxy explained there are four main goals for graduates to achieve while working in their positions, namely developing essential technical skills such as public speaking skills, communication skills, flexibility and adaptability to increase competitiveness; gaining a better insight into the company and the industry; working in teams and understanding the importance of team spirit; and learning from Galaxy’s success by understanding its unique culture and “Asian Heart” service philosophy.
