Donaco International Limited has added a third new board member in as many days with the appointment of Yugo Kinoshita, the Global Chief Executive Officer of Aruze Gaming America, Inc, as an independent non-executive Director of the Company.
The latest addition comes after Donaco revealed earlier this week that it had appointed two representatives of Argyle Street Management Limited, which acquired a 19.25% stake in the company in July, to the board.
In announcing Kinoshita’s appointment, Donaco pointed to his recent track record of having led Aruze to a 15% increase in revenues and 9% reduction in costs over the past 12 months.
“During Yugo’s leadership of Aruze, the company has enjoyed significant success in operations and in product recognition,” it said.“Key achievements while at Aruze include restructuring the company’s corporate strategy to become one of the fastest growing gaming companies in North America, and implementing a global sales and marketing strategy that has resulted in significantly increased product adoption. Yugo also spearheaded a US$30 million finance deal and served as the company’s liaison with financial institutions.”
Donaco, which also appointed former Silver Heritage Group Chairman David Green to the board in April, said its board renewal process was now complete following the appointment of Kinoshita. Company founders Joey and Ben Lim were recently voted off the board at an Extraordinary General Meeting.
