Aristocrat is preparing to launch its popular US casino management system, Oasis 360, into Asia.
The move comes on the heels of the company’s recently announced 10-year agreement with Boyd Gaming under which Oasis 360 now connects around 20,000 devices across Boyd’s 24 US properties.
Speaking with Inside Asian Gaming on the show floor at G2E in Las Vegas on Thursday, Aristocrat’s Sales & Business Development Director Asia Pacific, Lloyd Robson, said, “We don’t have a system in Asia per se but we’ve had a number of customers through G2E over the past few days that have expressed an interest in our Oasis 360 system.
“In the last quarter back in Asia there have also been some requests around systems with Aristocrat. While we are a very strong product and content player in Asia, systems are not something that we have typically pursued in recent years but on the back of this show and the momentum globally it’s something that we really want to explore.
“Obviously our typical slot product is performing really well in Asia, we’ve got strong market share and our customer engagement is very high, so we’re looking now to our broader global portfolio to see what else we can bring and cede into Asia to continue the growth that we’re on.”
Robson said that Oasis 360 had attracted particular interest from customers in Macau and the Philippines, as well as some interest in Korea and Vietnam.
“On Tuesday and Wednesday we’ve hardly had time to draw breath talking to our APAC customers,” he said.
“We do have a pretty strong offering of product here at G2E that is APAC-centric so that’s been good to take them through and get them excited.”
Oasis 360 combines Aristocrat’s portfolio of casino management technology comprised of slot management, bonusing, digital, table management, single card loyalty solutions, kiosk and a media management hub.
