SOS Data offers proprietary performance data for both pre-event and in-running markets and SOS White Label consists of wholesale services for associated businesses in betting and media sectors. StatsOnSport recent- ly tested its products amongst the users of Betfair over a sus- tained three-month period, during which betting volumes increased by 35%. Not only did the StatsOnSport analysis en- courage bettors to in- crease their wagers on the sports and markets they were normally active in, but it also gave them the con- fidence to place wagers on new sports and markets. StatsOnSport stresses it is not a tipping service, as its primarily ob- jective is to illustrate the pertinent trends for a given event and to provide anal- ysis of those trends. Waters explains: “Where we diverge from tipsters and media publications is that we use statistics as our starting point - and work towards a conclusion from there; tipsters will gener- ally use statistics to support a view.We do provide sum- mary recommendations for those who don’t have time to go through all the workings in the margin and for those who prefer to be guided, but the workings are always there.
