course, it’s not easy to be a good media company, that’s a different matter. But it is easy to set up some sort of media brand and start copying articles from other media and get a little bit of advertising revenue. So that’s made it tougher to get advertising dollars because of that fragmentation and the rise of online media and particularly social media. Building an events business was our answer to that because we have such great relationships with the senior people of this industry. And even though our audience in terms of eyeballs is in the hundreds of thousands every month, we have a core fo l l owi ng of about 30 , 000 people in the Asian gaming industry who I would describe as middle management and up within the three main groups of our industry – operators, s u p p l i e r s a n d p e r i p h e r a l services. We have a strong relationship with those individuals so an events business made sense. We have published an annual list each year since 2008 called the Asian Gaming Power 50 and in 2017 we turned that into a black-tie gala dinner which has become our flagship event, held on the first Friday each November.
