Aligning with new Vice- President Cameron Louis, our very experienced and capable Board of Directors and the GTA management team lead by [CEO] Jinesh Patel will help us gain traction in pursuit of our key strategic objectives. And, of course, doing everything I can to make AGE 2022 a fantastic and rewarding experience for the many people, organisations and businesses in the region t h a t h a v e a s t a ke i n t h e gaming industry! We really want to help our great industry bounce strongly out of the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and under my leadership we will redouble our efforts to support venues, our customers and establish the conditions for growth. IAGE: What do you hope to achieve long term? AB: Our association has a well thought out plan for how it can contribute to the long-term well-being of gaming technology and supplier companies, venues/ operators and all that have a stake in our industry. We will work energetically to deliver on our agenda, which includes increasing stakeholder understanding of our industry; supporting efficient, balanced, a n d e f f e c t i v e r u l e s a n d regulation; promoting technology as an enabler of responsible g a m e p l a y ; e n c o u r a g i n g innovation to meet player and customer (venue) needs; and representing the interests of technology companies while contributing to gaming industry advocacy more broadly. IAGE: You boast strong industry experience as both a former CEO of ClubsNSW and now representing a major industry supplier in Aristocrat. What do you bring to the Chairman’s role at GTA? AB: I am blessed to have been a part of this great industry that makes such an important contribution to peoples’ lives. I have seen and understand the economic and social benefit created by our industry and the critical contribution it makes to the financial capacity of hotels, clubs and casinos/integrated resorts in our suburbs and towns. Our industry allows the hospitality sector to provide a wonderful entertainment experience to their customers,
