A f t e r t w o y e a r s o f postponements due to the NSW hea l th orders , th i s year’s event is a monumental triumph for all involved in bringing it together and for our industry which is gaining t r ac t i on on t he road t o recovery. While it is my first AGE a s CEO o f t h e Gam i n g Technologies Association (GTA), it is also a first for many of this year’s exhibitors and visitors. I know they wi l l fee l we l comed i nto our community, and I look forward to meeting as many delegates as possible. I am heartened by the positive response from all de l egates at tending thi s year ’s event . In addi t ion to local interest, we have had strong interest from i nt e rnat i ona l de l egat es , which speaks volumes about the strength of this event and the Australian hospitality industry. S i n c e c o m m e n c i n g my role with GTA, I have received optimistic feedback f r om t h e s e c t o r . This year we are hosting o u r Ro a d t o Re c o v e r y N e t w o r k i n g l u n c h o n Wednesday in the Grand Ballroom. During the lunch, we w i l l e x p l o r e t o p i c s such as the impacts of the pandemic, the staffing crisis and opportunities to create u n i q u e a n d memo r a b l e guest experiences.
