Her practice focuses on technology, media and telecommunications. Tonet advises domestic and international clients operating in both mature and emerging technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sectors. These clients include software firms; online retailers; digital media platforms; gaming companies; publishers and advertisers; and broadcast, mobile, satellite, cable and integrated network operators. She has also represented financial institutions, including hedge funds, private equity firms, investment banks and project sponsors that are actively investing in, acquiring or divesting communications, media and technology assets. Tonet’s work focuses on transactional, regulatory and licensing issues, and other legal matters caused by convergence in the industry, helping clients accomplish their business objectives. Tonet received her Juris Doctor degree from the FEU-DLSU JD-MBA dual degree program, earning degrees in both MBA and Law. She graduated valedictorian of her JD class, earning the gold medal award for academic excellence. She earned her Masters of Law from the Columbia Law School in New York City.
