59 G2EASIA.COM | G2E ASIA CONFERENCE 2023 SPEAKER PROFILE Udorn Olsson is co-founder and Chairman of The Phoenix Group, a company established to leverage international relationships between global and Thailand business experts and deliver knowledge combined with practical experience, resources and investments to Thailand, with a focus on small and regional airports. He is also a member of an Advisory Committee to the Thai government proposing the development of the country’s first integrated resort developments with legalized casinos. Olsson is a native of Thailand who has acted in government while managing his business interests in Hua Hin. As co-founder of The Phoenix Group, he coordinates the critical link between private and public interests. His other roles include being part of the Senate Natural Resources and Environment Committee and the Tourism Committee of the House of Representatives, while also acting as advisor to the Chairman of the Armed Forces Commission and advisor to the Chairperson of the Committee on Studying the Preparation and Monitoring of the Budget Management of the House of Representatives.
