As someone who believes in learning through doing, Hai has immersed himself thoroughly in many aspects of esports and its underlying video game industry. He has consulted to and worked with a number of nations and cities around the world on esports. He is working with the University of Nevada Las Vegas to design and build an esports research arena, with the goal for it to be the first of many such facilities to advance our knowledge on the effects and potential of esports and video games. Hai also serves as Integrity Ambassador for Esports Integrity Commission, the world’s leading organization dedicated to maintaining a fair and safe competitive environment for esports, and he is a co-founding partner of Project Quipu, a non-profit organization that utilizes the power of the games and esports industry to support Indigenous communities around the world.
