You need to be solid, very disciplined, in making sure that people look up to you as a role model. Because you cannot, like you said, communicate to every employee. You just have to make sure that when they look up to you, they see a role model who shows how they have to behave themselves to make sure they are a factor in the success of the company. When I say discipline, I mean I basically walk the talk. People have to see you actually getting your hands dirty and doing the job yourself too. To me, building a culture is also very important.
