HL: Yes, it just so happened that Macau Slot was hiring an IT auditor and the job description fit my background, so I joined. I haven’t worked for another company besides Macau Slot since. IAG: You are Chief Betting Officer. What does an average day for you entail? HL: My main duty is to make sure our company is operating within the defined rules. This means that first and foremost it has to meet all the regulatory requirements set by the DICJ (Macau’s gaming regulator). Next is business performance – making sure things like turnover andprofit areat our expected level. And lastly, ensuring our product and services constantly maintain their market competitiveness and operate in the most cost-effective way. IAG: What do you enjoy most about your job? HL: SinceMacauSlotistheonlylicensedsportsbetting operator in Macau, there are plenty of opportunities to meet industry peers from other regions. I often have the chance to see the latest gaming products and business tools in our industry and to meet the regulatory bodies from other jurisdictions. I enjoy learning about new technologies and meeting some of the brightest minds in our business. 亞博匯（IAG）：感謝接受我們的採訪。可以和我們分享一下您的 背景嗎？您是澳門本地人嗎？ Harry Lan（HL）： 謝謝您的邀請。我出生於內地，10歲時移居 澳門。我在這裡渡過了中學歲月，並在美國獲得計算機科學碩 士學位。我在澳門已經生活和工作將近30年，所以我會說我是 澳門本地人。 IAG：請問您是如何進入到博彩行業的？ 藍逢海（HL）： 我在2004年回到澳門，當時覺得那時澳門的工作 機會比美國還多。我當時並非想在博彩行業工作，而是想找一 份與計算機和互聯網相關的工作。 IAG：這是您在澳門彩票公司作的原因嗎？ HL： 是的，當時澳門彩票公司正在招聘一名IT審核師，職位描 述恰好契合我的背景，所以我就加入了。自那之後我就沒有換 過其他公司。 IAG:您在公司任首席投注官，可以請您介紹下日常的工作內容 嗎？ HL： 我的主要職責是確保公司在既定的規則範圍內運作。即意 味著其首先必須滿足澳門博監局所規定的所有監管要求。其次 是經營業績，須確保諸如營業額及利潤等指標達到預期目標。 最後，要確保我們的產品及服務始終保持市場競爭力，並以最 具成本效益的方式運作。
