As we continue to review our current businesses, further execute on our plans to return capital to our shareholders and pursue new development opportunities in Asia, Grant will play an important role in helping us maximize the many opportunities ahead of us.” Chum joined the company as Senior Vice President for Global Gaming Strategy based in Asia, reporting to Rob Goldstein, then LVS President of Global Gaming Operations, now LVS President and COO. He caught the eye of LVS executives during his 14 years at UBS Investment Bank. An Oxford honors graduate, Chum oversaw Asian gaming research at UBS from 2006 to 2013 while also heading China equity research in Shanghai from 2007 to 2010 and then moved back home to Hong Kong to lead equity research there. Chum has moved up the ladder as scripted, being named LVS Macau subsidiary Sands China’s Chief of Staff in 2015 and, in February, tapped as Sands China COO.
