IAG APR 2020年4月 亞博匯 17 SUNCITY GROUP ANNOUNCES VIETNAM IR HOIANA TO LAUNCH IN 2021 太陽城宣佈越南IR會安南岸將於2021年正式啟幕 SUNCITY Group has delayed the launch of its Vietnam integrated resort, Hoiana, until 2021 due to disruption caused by the global coronavirus pandemic. Hoiana, a joint venture between Suncity, Chow Tai Fook and VinaCapital Group, is located in Hoi An South in Vietnam’s Quang Namprovince with the US$1 billion Phase 1 development to span more than 165 hectares. It will include a casino, restaurants, an 18-hole golf course and more than 1,000 hotel rooms along 4km of coastline. Originally planned to launch in the first half of 2020, Suncity has now revealed that the full opening of Hoiana will take place in 2021 with an “exclusive preview” to be held later this year. “Suncity’s investment in Vietnam is intended to stay for a very long time," said Suncity Group Chairman Alvin Chau. "Now, there may be flight and visa disruptions to Vietnam; however, our long- term confidence towards the Vietnammarket remain positive. “We are working hard to ensure that Hoiana will be ready to welcome our firsts guests in the preview in summer. All of these set the stage for 2020 and beyond to become transformative years ahead for Suncity.” 太陽城集團 在公佈的2019年財務報告中披露，全球 新冠肺炎疫情大流行的影響下，其旗下越南綜合度 假村會安南岸正式開幕時間將被推遲至2021年。 會安南岸是由太陽城集團、周大福及越南 VinaCapital Group共同投資開發的項目，地點位於 越南廣南省會安，第一期工程投資額約10億美元，佔 地超過165公頃，設有娛樂場、餐廳、一個18洞高爾夫 球場、以及沿4公里海岸線分佈的逾1000間酒店客 房。 太陽城原本計劃於2020年上半年啟用會安南 岸，但現時已決定將正式開業時間推遲至2021年，但 將於今年晚些時候進行首度試業。 太陽城集團主席周焯華表示，「太陽城目標是長 遠地投資越南，或許短期會受到航班取消及停發簽 證等衝擊，都不會影響我們對越南市場堅定不移的 信心。」 「我們將繼續推進越南旗艦綜合度假村項目會 安南岸的建設工程，確保會安南岸試業時一切準備就 緒，迎接集團首批的客人。各項發展均為太陽城集團 奠定基礎，為邁向2020年及往後的日子作出準備。」
