IAG DEC 2019年12月 亞博匯 78 I nside Asian Gaming announced the 2019 Asian Gaming Power 50 – an annual ranking of the most influential individuals in the Asian gaming industry – at a black tie gala dinner held in the Ballroom of JW Marriott, Galaxy Macau on the evening of Friday 1 November 2019. Celebrating the 12th anniversary of the “Big 50”, the gala dinner saw 300 key representatives of the industry from all across Asia gather together to celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months, As revealed in the November edition of IAG , Galaxy Entertainment Group Vice Chairman Francis Lui claimed the number one spot in 2019, ending a run of six consecutive top place finishes for Las Vegas Sands Chairman and CEO Sheldon Adelson in what proved to be a desperately close race. TRADE EVENTS Lui’s success proved a popular result with Galaxy’s Chief Operating Officer, Macau, Kevin Kelley, receiving a roaring ovation as he accepted the award on Lui’s behalf. Guests arriving at JWMarriott to start the festivities enjoyed an hour of Welcome Cocktails courtesy of Okada Manila, including fine French champagne supplied by Moët Hennessy Diageo. Afterwards, in the Grand Ballroom of JW Marriott, they were treated to a fine four-course meal while enjoying a range of jaw-dropping entertainment including a spectacular mirror ball act by Russian rhythmic gymnastics performer Valerie Murzak, a one- of-a-kind aerial act by England’s Stephanie Reid and music by the Blaine Whitaker band with Janaia Farrell.
