He has been responsible for more than 40 gambling and tourism related research projects for the Macao SAR Government. He has been appointed by the Government as a Consultant of Economic Development Committee since 2017, as a member of Talents Development Committee since 2014 and Consultative Committee of Statistics, MSAR since 2015 (UM Representative). Professor Fong was appointed by the Chief Executive as a Deputy of the sixth Legislative Assembly of Macao (2017~2021). 馮家超 博士是澳門大學博彩研究所所長，同時擔任澳門大 學工商管理學院國際綜合度假村管理課程教授。他一直負 責澳門特區政府的四十多個博彩及旅遊相關研究項目。 作為澳門廣受尊敬的學者之一及澳門負責任博彩的 傑出專家， 馮家超博士自2017年起被委任為澳門特區政 府經濟發展委員會顧問，自2014年起被委 任澳門特區政 府人才發展委員會委員，自2015年起擔任澳門特區政府 統計諮詢委員會委員（澳門大學代表）。 馮博士亦是受行政長官任命的澳門第六屆立法會委 任議員（2017年至2021年）。
