Celebrating its 12th year since debuting in 2008, the 2019 Asian Gaming Power 50 will be announced at a lavish black tie gala dinner, to be held this year at JW Marriott, Galaxy Macau. The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine dining meal, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers. The list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs and government officials throughout the evening. Seats are strictly limited to 300 guests and are selling fast with over 75% sold at time of press. First published by IAG in 2008, the Asian Gaming Power 50 has become renowned as the definitive guide to the most influential people in the Asian gaming industry over the preceding 12 months. The list is compiled each year using a detailed mathematical formula to ensure final rankings are both scientific and objective. This formula takes into account such factors as the scale of each candidate’s company, their operations and/or expansion efforts over the past 12 months as well as the “true” power each candidate has in the day-to-day operations of the company they represent. The “Big 50” list is then dissected and discussed at length between the nine members of the judging panel and adjusted accordingly.
