Positioning to win will be everyone’s focus now and keeping that t-shirt slogan in mind should give the candidates the extra energy they will need to finish among the winners. Yokohama has now thrown its hat into the ring to host one of Japan’s first IRs. 橫濱市目前已經決定參加首批日本綜合度假村牌照競標。 業世界中，在如此的競爭中落敗，則會為員工及投資者帶來負 面情緒。 基於潛在的利益，以及來自區內的激烈競爭，參與競投的 城市都會投放大量資源，去強調自己為甚麼應該成為IR的落腳 點。而讓城市本身切合所有要求，並且突出一些人缺我有的特 色，就更是在爭勝過程裏的重中之重。 可是，不是每個城市都有資源、名勝或地利來說服別人自 己應該是贏家。同樣地，差不多每個在爭取那數量有限的日本 賭牌的城市，都有讓人眼前一亮以及為之拜服之處，可是最後 能夠勝出的就只有三位。由於勝方與負方均已押上很高的投注 碼，所以為每個營運商而言，這將會是一場競爭激烈的戰役。 我已從日本的各路持份者打聽過，亦與一些同事辯論過， 因而對於幾個可能的勝出者有點頭緒。可是，日本IR牌照發出 的程序依然是長路漫漫，而且我的那些所謂頭緒，可能最後亦 會被推倒重來。 現在所有人的焦點都集中在讓自己能夠以最好的姿態去 爭勝，而如果競爭者把那句在T恤上的金句牢牢記住的話，應 該可以讓他們有多一點需要的能量成為能夠站上頒獎台的人 士之一。
