Now the company is building sales of its single terminal table game range in the sophisticated gaming markets of Singapore and Macau. Leading Alfastreet’s assault on those markets are the company’s SI Line Modular stand-alone terminals. They have been specifically designed to cater to each casino’s individual floor-space and floor-design requirements. “Singapore and Macau are the most progressive markets in the sense that the players and the operators are looking for new concepts with single terminals but multi game options,” says Albert Radman, Alfastreet’s Sales Director for Asia. The modular design of the SI Line incorporates electronic player stations with touch screen displays that are linked to fully automated games. SI Line is available in roulette format or sic bo format. Its modular design means it can be set up as a standalone game or as part of an array for more communal style play. In the roulette version, all action is captured live with a camera focused on the automated roulette wheel and presented on a large screen display. The system is scalable to 250 terminals using one automated roulette wheel. Individual terminals feature touch screen displays, automatic and secure cash and coin handling, ticket-in, ticket-out (TITO) systems and multi- denomination features. “In Singapore, we have already delivered single terminals and we hope to bring more,” says Mr Radman. “In Singapore, everybody adores the roulette. The roulettes are full all the time, no matter how many you put on the floor.” The SI Line can also be set up to accommodate multiple wheels. “Players like to choose not just between the games, but between different wheels,” explains Albert Radman. “Many of the players believe in luck— especially here in Asia. So if they have a choice of wheel, they like that. If they have only one wheel, and they find their lucky numbers aren’t coming up, they are more likely to leave the table.
