The 13 Holdings Limited has announced that it will officially open its luxury Macau hotel and entertainment complex, The 13, in July following issuance of an occupation permit by the government.
In an announcement on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Group said that it was, “in the process of obtaining necessary licenses for the operation and pre-opening preparation of the Hotel. It is anticipated that the Hotel will be opened by the end of July 2017.” Its occupation permit was granted on 29 March.
The 13 has been billed as the most luxurious hotel in the world, coming at a cost of US$1.4 billion. Among its features will be 200 suites covering 30,000 square feet, 24-hour butler service and a fleet of custom made red Rolls-Royce phantoms. The fleet of 30 cars is the largest single order in Rolls-Royce history.
