The IAG Academy IR Awards will return to Manila’s Newport World Resorts on the evening of Tuesday 10 September 2024.
Inside Asian Gaming’s “Super September” series of industry events returns this coming September, providing a unique offering of educational and networking events for attendees from across the Asia-Pacific region.
To be held from 9 to 11 September at Manila’s Newport World Resorts, Super September comprises the latest edition of Manila After Dark (MAD) as well as the IAG Academy Summit and the IAG Academy IR Awards.
The IAG Academy IR Awards, taking place on the evening of Tuesday 10 September in the Ballroom at Hilton Manila, is a highlight of the week’s festivities, providing a level of transparency and fairness rarely seen in other industry awards. IAG wants to see the true best-of-the-best honored and therefore takes extraordinary steps to ensure each category is judged and awarded without fear or favor. That means anybody can make public nominations, there are a large number of judges, the judging process itself is fully audited and those judges who have a vested interest in one or more categories are excluded from voting in those specific categories. Judges must also meet certain eligibility criteria to ensure they have the knowledge base to make informed decisions when casting their votes.
This year’s IAG Academy IR Awards has been expanded from 20 categories in 2023 to 22 categories in 2024, with two brand new awards categories: Best Sports Betting Solution in an IR and Best Poker Room in an IR. Another new category, Best Overall Marketing Program, replaces the Best Corporate Image from 2023.
Alongside the 22 company awards, IAG will also name three Rising Stars, an Outstanding CEO and three Industry Icons. IAG will also name its first ever Industry Legend, selected from the six existing Industry Icons identified in previous editions of the IAG Academy IR Awards. All fall under IAG’s Hall of Fame concept, of which more details will be announced in the near future.
The IAG Academy IR Awards will be a live in-person event with a black-tie gala dinner, held alongside the two-day IAG Academy Summit. Organizer Inside Asian Gaming is an Asian born and bred company with an in-depth knowledge of the people and companies who have made the industry in this part of the world what it is today. IAG has the credibility and convening authority to organize the most prestigious, credible and recognized awards for the Asia-Pacific integrated resort industry.
