Resorts World Sentosa has appointed former Singapore Business Federation CEO Lam Yi Young as its new Deputy Chief Executive Officer, part of the company’s ongoing efforts to bolster its leadership team.
In a Friday announcement, RWS operator Genting Singapore said Lam will assist CEO Tan Hee Teck in the “execution of the strategies, management and development of RWS’s business, and ensure effective day-to-day operational performance and organisational excellence.”
He is slated to join RWS on 1 January 2023 pending him passing a suitability assessment by Singapore’s Gambling Regulatory Authority.
RWS also confirmed the appointment of former Marina Bay Sands executive Andrew MacDonald as Chief Casino Officer. MacDonald’s move was first revealed by Inside Asian Gaming in August.
According to Friday’s official announcement, the veteran industry figure will oversee the overall casino business at RWS.
