Philippines-based airline Cebu Pacific has announced that flights between Cebu and Seoul in South Korea will be increased from twice a week to daily starting 9 September.
The new daily schedule, which will see flights departing Cebu at 12.25pm each day and return flights departing Incheon International Airport at 6.55pm, represents another significant step in the Philippines’ tourism recovery story with Korean customers currently a dominant presence on the nation’s casino floors.
“This ramp-up just two months after the route [was first launched] is a testament to our commitment to [everyone] and reflects the travel demand amongst Filipinos and foreigners,” said CEB Corporate Communications Director, Carmina Reyes-Romero.
“With our extensive domestic network in and out of Cebu, we are happy to provide more flight connections to our passengers.”
Cebu’s first integrated resort, NUSTAR, welcomed its first guests via a soft launch in May with a Grand Opening planned for 2023.
