DKI provides conflict-free, well-researched stock ideas and timely market commentary. The webinar discussion, hosted by DKI Founder and Managing Partner Gary Brode, will see Andrew focus on the future of the Macau casino gaming industry, with three main topics of discussion:

  1. The new Macau gaming law and its commercial implications
  2. How the concession tender process will play out in 2022 H2
  3. Mainland China’s Macau posture and its impact on the market

Gary Brode has more than 30 years of experience in the securities industry – most recently as Managing Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager of Silver Arrow Investment Management, a concentrated long-only hedge fund with options-based hedging.  At Deep Knowledge Investing, the team of analysts and advisors provide actionable insights for individual stocks, and its market commentary is provided without hidden agendas. Mr Brode began his career in the M&A department of Morgan Stanley, spent four years with Doug Hirsch at Smith New Court and Seneca Capital, and three years doing long/short equity investing at Brahman Capital, before moving to John Levin & Co. He was a founding partner of Akita Capital Management before starting Silver Arrow with Raji Khabbaz in January 2012.

Andrew W Scott has over 35 years experience in the casino gaming industry, predominantly in the Asia-Pacific region. He began his career in public practice in Chartered Accounting firms in Australia, and after five years began focusing full-time on a wide range of aspects of the gaming industry, which has taken him to over 200 casinos around the world. He spent the past 13 years based in Macau, and based in Hong Kong for five years before that. He has been reporting on the Macau gaming industry for 15 years and is extremely well-networked and trusted amongst the industry’s most senior executives.
